Your IPI is your personal identification number as a
songwriter. You can find it on the royalty statement
you receive from your collecting society.

Step: 2
Collect your
metadata in Auddly
As you start writing, you can log your song’s metadata – IPI, title and
royalty split – into Auddly’s song data hub. This means all essential
information is held in one place, in sync with your fellow collaborators.
Step: 3
Register on time
As soon as your song is finished and ready to be performed
or released, use the metadata in Auddly to register the song
with your collecting society. If you have a publisher and/or
a manager, please check with them first.
Following these 3 steps will help to ensure you are
correctly paid when your music is used.
